Cookie Settings
Herosite does not and will not ever sell your personal information.
This page explains the cookies Herosite uses, why we use them, and how to switch the optional ones off with the control panel below. For the full picture of how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
The switches below
The panel at the bottom of your screen has three levers: Essential, Analytics, and Personalization. Essential stays on because the site needs it to work. The other two are on by default, and you can pull them down to opt out whenever you like.
Your choices are saved in two small cookies on your device, optOutAnalytics and optOutPersonalization. They store no personal information; they only remember that you opted out. If you clear your cookies, or use a different browser or device, you will need to set your choices again. Your choices apply across herosite.com and its subdomains.
Essential (always on)
Essential cookies keep Herosite running. They remember your session as you move between pages, keep you securely signed in to your account when you log in, help keep the site secure, keep our free tools fair by preventing abuse, and store the opt-out choices above. The site cannot work properly without them, so they cannot be turned off.
To protect our forms and free tools from spam and automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise, which runs invisibly in the background and may set a security cookie. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
What we use, and why
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people find and use Herosite, which pages are popular, and where visitors get stuck, so we know what to improve. These tools can see things like your approximate location (city level), your browser and device, and the pages you view. Microsoft Clarity also records anonymized session replays, which capture actions like clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement. None of this is used to identify you personally.
Our own (first-party) analytics. Alongside those tools, we keep our own anonymous record of how the logo and website wizards are used — which step you reach, how long each step takes, your device and operating system, your approximate region, the screen size we served, the language your browser prefers, and how you arrived (for example, the site that referred you or a campaign tag in the link). We use this only to improve the product; it is not used to identify you. Turning Analytics off switches this first-party collection off too; when it is off, these details are simply recorded as "Unknown."
Personalization. We use the Meta Pixel so we can show Herosite ads to the right people on Facebook and Instagram, and measure whether those ads work. Alongside the Pixel, we use Meta's Conversions API to send a few of those same measurement events (such as a sign-up or purchase) to Meta from our own servers, with matching details like your email address hashed beforehand — see our Privacy Policy for the detail. We may also look up your approximate city from your IP address to personalize on-screen examples. Turning Personalization off stops the Meta Pixel from loading, stops these server-side events, and stops the location lookup.

Managing cookies yourself
Beyond the switches on this page, you can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies, and can warn you before new ones are set. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
You can also opt out directly with the providers, through the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and your Meta ad preferences.
If you are in the EU or UK
Where the law requires it, including the European Union and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set, and analytics and personalization stay off until you agree. You can change your choices at any time using the switches on this page.
If you are in California
Using the Meta Pixel for advertising may count as "sharing" personal information under California law. You can opt out by pulling the Personalization lever down. We do not sell your personal information for money.
